Disclosed are a networking method and system for a wireless network, and a wireless AP, wherein same relate to the field of wireless AP networking. The method comprises: setting one AP (wireless access point) in a plurality of APs as a master AP, setting other APs as slave APs, and establishing a wired network connection between the slave APs and the master AP and a first uplink connection of the master AP; the slave APs sending a configuration synchronization request to the master AP, and after receiving the configuration synchronization request, the master AP sending a network configuration to the corresponding slave APs; and when the wired network connection between the slave APs and the master AP is interrupted, the slave APs establishing a second wireless uplink connection by using the network configuration. According to the invention, a simple, convenient, efficient and stable wireless coverage network can be established.
