The present invention relates to a liquid detection sensor for a battery pack for electric vehicles, which is located in a battery pack in which a plurality of battery cell modules are mounted, and detects when liquid rises from the bottom surface to a certain height or above and notifies a battery management system (BMS) side about the detection, thereby preventing an accident in which a fire breaks out due to a battery cell being short-circuited by generated liquid. The liquid detection sensor comprises: a main body unit (110) including a sensing unit (111) in which two terminal units (120) are fixedly mounted to perform sensing, and a fixing unit (113) formed on one side of the sensing unit (111) to fix the location of the sensing unit (111); and the terminal units (120) fixing a resistance element (140) in parallel to two terminals of a wire (130) and being molded to the sensing unit (111), in which each front end portion thereof is installed to be spaced apart at a certain height (h) upward from a bottom end portion of the sensing unit (111).
