The present invention relates to a large-scale vector data presentation method based on MySQL5.7 and OpenLayers. The method comprises: constructing a vector data storage database based on a geometry type of MySQL5.7, and storing vector data therein; based on a query request, sent by an OpenLayers map engine, of a query region, performing spatial query on the vector data storage database; and dynamically rendering vector data, returned from the vector data storage database by means of a Web service and in a GeoJSON format, of the query region, and displaying same on a browser. According to the solution provided in the present invention, a geometry type provided by MySQL5.7 and an OpenLayers map engine are integrated to realize storage and display of vector data. A MySQL database has higher domestic popularity and is the current major domestic database, and many existing domestic software uses the MySQL database. The technical solution provided in the prevent invention can realize seamless integration between the large-scale vector data presentation method and an existing software project, thereby reducing early development difficulties and later maintenance costs.
