Disclosed are a multistage suspension preheating cement kiln system, and a control method for a multistage suspension preheating cement kiln system. The multistage suspension preheating cement kiln system comprises: a rotary kiln, which has a rotary kiln flue gas chamber; a decomposition furnace, which is in communication with the rotary kiln flue gas chamber; a multistage suspension preheater for preheating a cement raw material, the multistage suspension preheater at least comprising a last-stage cyclone, a penultimate-stage cyclone, and a heat exchange pipeline between the two cyclones, wherein flue gas from the decomposition furnace is introduced into the last-stage cyclone, and between an upper-stage cyclone and a lower-stage cyclone of the multistage suspension preheater, and outlet flue gas from the lower-stage cyclone is introduced into the upper-stage cyclone through the heat exchange pipeline; a cement raw material conveying pipeline, which is in communication with the multistage suspension preheater; and a coal supply device, used for supplying coal power to the system, wherein at least one heat exchange pipeline is provided with a preheater coal supply point, and the coal supply device is suitable for supplying coal powder to the multistage suspension preheater by means of the preheater coal supply points.
