Disclosed is a content forwarding node selection method in a vehicle-mounted ad hoc network based on service type, the method comprising the following steps: calculating a bandwidth occupation scale factor according to a content information type of a request and a bandwidth occupation condition of a neighboring vehicle that can be forwarded in a one-hop transmission range; defining virtual arrival time from a candidate forwarding vehicle to an initial request vehicle according to the distance between the neighboring vehicle and the initial request vehicle and the traveling speed of the neighboring vehicle; calculating a forwarding node influence factor according to the bandwidth occupation scale factor and the virtual arrival time; and selecting a forwarding node according to the forwarding node influence factor. In the present invention, a forwarding node is selected according to a bandwidth occupation condition and a node position moving speed, network delay caused by network topology change can be effectively avoided, the success rate of content information forwarding is improved, thereby effectively increasing the successful arrival rate of a content data packet, reducing transmission delay, and improving network performance.
