Provided is a novel method for culturing hepatic epithelioid tissue. A method is used for forming hepatic epithelioid tissue having a structure of connections between hepatocytes and cholangiocytes, the method including a step of culturing cholangiocytes on a collagen gel, and a step of inoculating and culturing hepatocytes on the cultured cholangiocytes.
