In the root canal treating robot (1), a ball head (9) and a root canal treating optical fiber are driven by an x-axis motion unit and a y-axis motion unit to move on the xy plane, the root canal treating optical fiber is driven by a z-axis motion unit to move along the z axis, and at the same time, the root canal treating optical fiber is driven by an a-axis motion unit to rotate around the z axis. The root canal treating robot (1) implements four-degree of freedom control of the root canal treating optical fiber, thus allowing various schemes of motion of the root canal treating optical fiber to be achieved for a root canal treatment implemented by utilizing a microrobot, solving the problem found in a root canal treatment process completed by employing a manual method, and reducing labor costs for the root canal treatment.
