In this vehicle travel route control system, which controls a plurality of vehicles having an automatic driving function or a driving assistance function, a dispatch information data server 2 generates a travel route map M obtained by adding, to a road map, information pertaining to driving mode switching positions (white dots, black dots) at which the driving mode was switched to manual driving mode from an automatic driving mode during travel. On the basis of the travel route map M, a travel route is calculated from among a plurality of routes in which a dispatch candidate vehicle could travel to a destination DP via a user position UP, said travel route avoiding driving mode switching positions. If it is possible to calculate a travel route that avoids driving mode switching positions, the dispatch vehicle candidate is set as a dispatch vehicle 7, and the calculated travel route information is transmitted to an in-vehicle on-board unit 3 installed in the dispatch vehicle 7.
