A store server 520B (commodity demand prediction device) is provided with: an acquisition unit 526 that acquires information about people expected to be present in a region where the store is located, in at least a part of a time zone for commodity demand prediction; and a prediction unit 527 that predicts the commodity demand at the store in the time zone on the basis of the information about the people and the commodity purchase tendency of the people.
