The present invention relates to a composition, comprising hyaluronic acid and a binder, for suture coating and a method for manufacturing a hyaluronic acid-coated suture by using same and, more specifically, to: a composition, comprising hyaluronic acid and a binder, for suture coating; a method for manufacturing a hyaluronic acid-coated suture, the method comprising a step of dissolving hyaluronic acid and a binder in purified water to prepare a hyaluronic acid solution, and a step of coating a suture with the hyaluronic acid solution, followed by drying; a hyaluronic acid-coated suture manufactured by the method; and a thread for lifting comprising the hyaluronic acid-coated suture. Through the composition for suture coating and the method for manufacturing a hyaluronic acid-coated suture by using same according to the present invention, a suture coated with a high content of high-molecular weight hyaluronic acid can be manufactured with high efficiency. The suture coated with a high content of hyaluronic acid of the present invention not only has excellent stability and biocompatibility but also promotes collagen synthesis, and thus can be used as various forms of preparations for tissue restoration and can be helpfully utilized even in beauty care-related fields, such as threads for lifting.
