The invention relates to the field of atomic emission spectroscopy analysis, specifically to a method for determining element content and the forms in which said elements are present in a dispersed sample, and the granulometric composition of the sample. The plasma source used is in the form of microwave heating energy from several sources arranged in sequence and controlled independently of one another, said sources being based on microwave plasma generators having atmospheric pressure toroidal plasma. Spectra are recorded by a multi-element photodetector in a scintillating and/or integrated mode.
