The present invention relates to a method for calculating slope stability limit equilibrium based on inter-slice normal force distribution, and belongs to the technical field of slope stability. Regarding traditional limit equilibrium methods of slices not taking into account inter-slice normal force distribution when analysing slope stability, i.e. the effect of different line of thrust acting positions on the factor of safety, the present method further takes into account inter-slice normal force distribution, i.e. the distribution of line of thrust acting positions, on the basis of existing limit equilibrium methods of slices; the proposed improved method for calculating limit equilibrium takes into account inter-slice normal force distribution characteristics, and using the improved limit equilibrium Spencer's method provided in the present invention to calculate a deep concave slip surface, it was found that there is a large error in the factor of safety between the improved limit equilibrium method and traditional limit equilibrium methods, the error being as high as around 20%; the method of the present invention is simple and reliable and provides more accurate results for slope stability analysis, increasing engineering safety and saving construction costs, improving the economic benefits of engineering.
