Provided are a gate driver unit, gate drive method, gate driver circuit, and display device; the gate drive unit comprises a reverse-phase gate drive signal output terminal (Gn_PM), a forward-phase gate drive signal output terminal (Gn_NM), an input circuit (11), an output control circuit (12), an input node control circuit (13), and an output circuit (14); under the control of a first clock signal (GCKB), the input circuit (11) controls an input terminal (INPUT) to connect to an input node (Qi); under the control of the potential of the input node (Qi) and the second clock signal (GCK), the output control circuit (12) controls the potential of an output node (Qo); under the control of the second clock signal (GCK), the input node control circuit (13), according to the potential of the output node (Qo), controls the potential of the input node (Qi); according to the potential of the output node (Qo), the output circuit (14) controls output of a reverse-phase gate drive signal, and controls output of a forward-phase gate drive signal.
