PEANUT HULL CAT LITTER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed are peanut hull cat litter and a manufacturing method therefor. The raw materials of the cat litter comprise a peanut hull powder, activated carbon, a preservative, a binder and a thickener, with the mass ratios of the ingredients of the raw materials for making the cat litter being: 70-80% of the peanut hull powder, 2-10% of the activated carbon, 0.2-2% of the preservative, 10-18% of the binder, and 2-10% of the thickener. In the manufacturing method therefor, the raw materials of the cat litter are obtained by milling, water-controlling and stirring, and are subjected to granulation and drying, so as to obtain cat litter particles, wherein the peanut hulls and activated carbon are used as the main raw materials, and have the advantages of acting as a natural deodorant and having a low unit mass; in addition, since peanut hulls easily degrade and can be directly flushed down the toilet or placed in gardens for degradation, same also have the advantages of being environmentally friendly and sanitary. The preparation method therefor is simple, and large-scale production thereof can be realized.
