The present invention provides a foot type prediction method and a foot type evaluation device using same, the method comprising: a step for receiving a medical image of a foot of an individual; a step for using a region prediction model configured to predict the talus region and the first metatarsal region on the basis of the medical image of a foot so as to predict the talus region and the first metatarsal region in the medical image of a foot; a step for determining a talus-first metatarsal angle on the basis of a center line for each of the predicted talus region and first metatarsal region; and a step for evaluating a foot type of the individual on the basis of the talus-first metatarsal angle.
