Disclosed is a binary composite fluid-based gas treatment method for steeply inclined extra-thick coal seam. Said method comprises: first using a cleaning fracturing fluid system and a micro-emulsion as a binary composite fluid; then injecting the binary composite fluid into a coal body by means of a main hydraulic fracturing and permeability enhancement method of hydraulic fracturing and water jet slotting, so as to form a coal-body binary composite fluid fracturing and permeability enhancement gas extraction system; and finally investigating and analyzing the treatment effect of gas extracted at a steeply inclined extra-thick coal seam by means of gas extraction flow variation characteristics and analysis, coal seam permeability coefficient variation characteristics and analysis, gas natural desorption rate variation characteristics and analysis of a coal body, wind return flow gas concentration variation characteristics and analysis of a working face, and drill cuttings quantity index theoretical analysis, i.e. achieving the treatment of gas at the steeply inclined extra-thick coal seam. The method can ensure the safety of mining work, and improve the gas treatment effect.
