A software testing method. The method comprises: acquiring tested function points and a function point to be tested of software to be tested (S101); searching, from the tested function points, a function point associated with the function point to be tested, so that same serves as an associated function point (S102); acquiring a first operating parameter of the associated function point, and acquiring a second operating parameter of the function point to be tested (S103); optimizing the second operating parameter according to the first operating parameter to obtain an optimized operating parameter (S104); and generating a test configuration file according to the optimized operating parameter, and testing, according to the test configuration file, the function point to be tested (S105). The software testing method can reduce the cost of later modifications to the test.
