The present invention pertains to a strain culture medium composition for mass-producing colanic acid, and a method for mass-producing colanic acid using same. The ingredients and concentrations in the culture medium of the present invention were optimized using a statistical method, and thus the culture medium can be used to significantly increase the produced amount of colanic acid.
