MARITIME PATROL DEVICE EMPLOYING UNMANNED SHIP CARRYING UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE AND METHOD OF USE

A maritime patrol device employing unmanned ship carrying unmanned aerial vehicle and method of use. The patrol device comprises an unmanned ship, an unmanned aerial vehicle, an unmanned aerial vehicle landing platform system, and an automatic unmanned aerial vehicle battery replacement and charging system. The method of use for the patrol device comprises the following steps: a, an unmanned ship sailing along a planned course; b, when the unmanned ship sails to an operation region, an unmanned aerial vehicle taking off to operate; c, the unmanned aerial vehicle sending to a terrestrial station system, an image and information related to the unmanned aerial vehicle; d, when the unmanned aerial vehicle is low on power, the unmanned aerial vehicle recording position information of a current point, and returning home; e, the unmanned aerial vehicle landing; f, removing a battery (24); g, charging the battery (24); h, mounting the fully charged battery (24); i, the unmanned aerial vehicle travelling back to the recorded position, and returning after completing operations; and j, the unmanned ship continuing to cruise. The device and the method resolve the issue regarding ship motions, ensure stable take-off and landing of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the safety of an entire system, and improve the cruising ability of the unmanned ship and the unmanned aerial vehicle.
