The invention further relates to a process for the preparation of a porous carbon material, a porous carbon material, a device comprising a porous carbon material and a use of a porous carbon material. The present invention relates to a formulation comprising: a) A graphitizable carbon source; b) A non-graphitizable carbon source; and c) An amphiphilic species.
