The present invention relates to a device for increasing guide efficiency of navigation by using a camera image and a method thereof. Provided is a navigation guide device comprising: an image acquisition part for collecting an external image, which is an image of a moving direction of a vehicle, photographed through a wide-angle lens camera; an image processing part which processes a collected external image to acquire a guide image related to a guide point; and an image display part for displaying the acquired guide image on a map of the navigation.
