IOT - Edge-cloud system for auto controlling of IOT devices

Provided is an edge-cloud system for automatically controlling Internet of Things (IoT) devices. An edge computing device, when a pattern similar to a pattern (hereinafter, referred to as a ′target pattern′) of sensing signals collected from a plurality of IoT devices exists in sensing signal DB storing sensing signals previously collected from the IoT devices, determines the target pattern as a similar pattern and transmits the same to a cloud computing system. The cloud computing system checks whether a macro having the same signal pattern and external environment as the similar pattern received from the edge computing device exists in behavior pattern macro DB, determines whether the similar pattern is a change in the behavior pattern by the external environment, and when the similar pattern is determined to be the change in the behavior pattern by the external environment, generates a new behavior pattern macro corresponding to the similar pattern and the external environment of the similar pattern to transmit the generated new behavior pattern macro to the edge computing device. Therefore, a macro capable of automatically controlling an IoT device in consideration of an external environment and time around the IoT device can be generated by a cloud and provided to a user.
