Method of Selectiong the Appropriate Abnormal Operationg Procedure for Fire in Nuclear Power Plant Fire Area

The present invent relates to a method for selecting an appropriate abnormal operation procedure in case of fire in a nuclear power plant fire area capable of developing an appropriate fire emergency operation procedure corresponding to fire in each fire area of a nuclear power plant and securing reliability for the same. The method for selecting an appropriate abnormal operation procedure in case of fire in a nuclear power plant fire area comprises the steps of: (a) confirming a fire occurrence alert of a fire area of a nuclear power plant; (b) confirming whether the fire occurrence alert is caused by real fire; (c) confirming whether the fire area in which the fire occurs is a main control room when the fire occurrence alert is caused by the real fire; (d) confirming whether the fire area in which the fire occurs is an area related to safe shutdowns of the nuclear power plant when the fire area in which the fire occurs is not a main control room; and (e) determining that abnormal operation is necessary if the fire area in which the fire occurs in the step (d) is an area related to the safe shutdowns of the nuclear power plant.
