According to an embodiment of the present invention, the air conditioner including a filter and a damper, capable of active control based on the air quality of indoor circulation air and external inflow air, includes: a ventilation inducing unit including a ventilation inlet, a ventilation damper, a first sensor, and an air blower for ventilation; an exhaust unit including an exhaust outlet and an exhaust damper; an external air inducing unit including a bypass damper, an external air inlet, an external air damper, and a second sensor; an air supply unit including a main filter, a heat exchanger, and an air blower for air supply; and a control unit controlling opening and closing of at least one among the ventilation damper, the exhaust damper, the external air damper, or the bypass damper and determining whether to apply voltage to the main filter.
