The present invention relates to a laser cutting method for preventing heat defection of a flexible display panel, wherein a layer, which undergoes heat defection caused by the heat of laser when a flexible display panel formed after a plurality of layers are accumulated is cut by the laser, is checked in advance such that the flexible display panel may be cut without generating heat defection. Because heat defection of the heat display panel is prevented, a breakage or a failure which can be generated when the flexible display panel is cut are decreased, thereby increasing a manufacturing wield. To this end, the present method comprises: a step that laser is projected to a cutting position of a flexible display panel composed of a plurality of layers in order to firstly cut a portion inwardly from an upper surface of the flexible display panel; a step that a heat deflection layer is checked by enlarging and photographing a cut surface of the flexible display panel which is cut through the first cutting step by a photographing unit; a step that the laser is projected by the strength of 30-40% to the heat deflection layer by means of the heat deflection layer checking step; a step that even the heat deflection layer is secondly cut by increasing the strength of the laser until the laser reaches the heat deflection layer after checking whether the laser projected in the laser projection step reaches the heat deflection layer; and a step that the flexible display panel is cut up to the heat deflection layer by means of the second cutting step before the flexible display panel is reversed and aligned, in order to thirdly cut the same by repeating the first cutting step, the heat deflection layer checking step, the laser projection step, and the second cutting step.
