Disclosed are a method and apparatus for providing a game service for settlement of a user based on user data analysis. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing a game service performed by a game server comprises the steps of: determining whether a target user corresponds to a user in need; analyzing user data of the target user related to a game play history of the target user; generating a support quest for supporting settlement of the target user based on the user data of the analyzed target user; and providing a support quest an existing user distinguished from the target user.
