The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a novel carbazole derivative, a carbazole derivative manufactured therefrom, and uses thereof. A manufacturing method according to the present invention is an effective multi-element reaction, which can be carried out in environment-friendly synthesis efficiently under mild reaction conditions, and exhibits the advantage of reducing the production cost by using commercially available starting materials. In addition, novel carbazole derivatives according to the present invention exhibit excellent fluorescence sensing ability, and in particular, can be usefully used as a composition for detecting Cu^2+ ions or an OLED material.
