Provided is a method for providing a prepayment-based meeting service for an expenditure to be generated at a meeting place determined by an agreement among parties, which comprises: a step that a region in which a meeting service is to be used is selected by a user terminal; a step that at least one chat room for each meeting purpose, which is established in the selected region, is transmitted to the user terminal; a step that, in the case that the user terminal selects one chat room from the at least one chat room for each meeting purpose, which is previously established, it is checked whether the selected chat room is a chat room which requires prepayment of an expenditure for entrance; a step that, in the case that the chat room selected by the user terminal is the chat room which requires prepayment of the expenditure, a payment interface is provided such that the user terminal may pay a prepayment amount; and a step that, in the case that a payment request exists in the user terminal and the same is completely approved, entrance to the chat room selected by the user terminal is permitted.
