The present invention relates to a mechanism operated by being coupled to a leno device (L) of a jacquard loom. The mechanism of the present invention comprises: a vertical actuation unit (10) including a camshaft fixing bracket (13) having double cams (11, 12) at one end of an upper frame (1) and cam levers (16, 17) rotatably coupled to bearings (14, 15) on the camshaft fixing bracket (13); and a selvage weaving device (20) provided to interwork with a fixing stand (2) and the cam levers (16, 17) positioned at a lower portion of the upper frame (1), and having selvage weaving stands (23, 24) to couple each leno device (L) on vertically opposite fixing levers (21, 22) at one side thereof. Accordingly, the leno device used for a jacquard loom is mounted to perform a work of fixing an edge of a fabric not to be released during a process of weaving the fabric, thereby minimizing a defect rate of a product to maximize the quality of a produced finished product.
