The present invention relates to a spheroidal graphite cast iron with an excellent tensile property and a preparation method thereof. According to the present invention, with respect to 100 wt% of the total spheroidal graphite cast iron, the spheroidal graphite cast iron comprises: 3.48-3.88 wt% of carbon (C); 2.43-2.73 wt% of silicon (Si); 0.20-0.26 wt% of manganese (Mn); 0.25-0.45 wt% of copper (Cu); 0.025-0.075 wt% of magnesium (Mg); and the remainder consisting of iron (Fe) and other inevitable impurities.
