The present invention relates to a Microstroma phylloplanum AmE-3 strain and a composition for promoting plant growth comprising the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an environment-friendly and human-friendly plant growth promoting composition which has increased production of indole-3-actic acid (IAA) in plants by comprising the strain and enhances crop germination, rooting, and plant growth, thereby ensuring early harvest, shortening delivery cycles, and increasing yield.
