Provided are polylactic acid grafted cellulose nanofibers suitable as a molding material and a method for producing the same. The present invention includes a grafted cellulose having a graft chain bonded to cellulose constituting the cellulose nanofiber, wherein the graft chain is polylactic acid, and C of polylactic acid to absorbance derived from OH of cellulose in an infrared absorption spectrum.
