How to evaluate mucosal healing in patients with Crohn's disease

The present disclosure provides a method of assessing mucosal healing in a patient with Crohn's disease. The method includes detecting an expression level of an analyte in a serum sample from the patient, and generating a mucosal healing index score for the patient by applying a mathematical algorithm to the expression level. The present disclosure also provides kits comprising two or more binding partners, each of which can bind to different analytes measured in the disclosed mucosal healing assessment methods.
