The present invention relates to a method for monitoring the location of a fishing net surveillance buoy, capable of checking or confirming a change in a buoy and a sea state in real-time through a terminal, and a red tide spread prediction method using the same. According to the present invention, a red tide spread prediction method comprises the following steps of: installing an identifier on one side of a buoy with a predetermined shape; transmitting seawater temperature information, dissolved oxygen information, tidal flow rate information, and GPS location information to a ground terminal through wireless communications; and displaying, on the ground terminal, the location of the buoy, the seawater temperature information, and the dissolved oxygen information based on the GPS location information, aggregating the seawater temperature information and the dissolved oxygen information to display red tide information, and predicting red tide spread information based on the tidal flow rate information to display the red tide spread information.
