The present invention relates to a method for constructing a self-standing partition type retaining wall having an arcuate earth pressure distribution. According to the present invention, the method for constructing a self-standing partition type retaining wall having an arcuate earth pressure distribution comprises the steps of: (a) constructing a pillar wall (10); (b) constructing an active earth pressure part reinforcing partition wall; (c) installing an upper cross beam in a direction perpendicular to the pillar wall; and (d) excavating an excavation surface on a front side of the pillar wall. According to the present invention, the earth pressure applied to a wall body can be remarkably reduced.
