The present invention relates to an IoT-based smart pet management system comprising: an automatic feeding unit to provide a pet with pet food; an information collection unit installed in the automatic feeding unit to collect the surrounding situation information near the automatic feeding unit; a communication module to transmit information collected by the information collection unit; a pet feeding device installed in the automatic feeding unit, and provided with a monitor for outputting an image of a care provider to prevent anxiety of a pet due to the absence of the care provider; and a care provider terminal to control driving of the pet feeding device, and outputting an image and a sound signal transmitted via the communication module. The IoT-based smart pet management system moves to the current position of the pet to collect current information of the pet to supply the current information to the terminal of the care provider. Therefore, the care provider can easily identify the state of the pet. In addition, an image and a sound signal of the care provider are outputted in the absence of the care provider to prevent anxiety of the pet due to the absence of the care provider.
