The present invention relates to an apparatus to test the durability of a hydraulic locking cylinder for a switch point. In order to accurately test the durability, including a locking force, a switching force, a switching distance and durability, of a hydraulic locking cylinder, which is used to quickly and simply apply the same condition as an actual line installation condition to a line indoors without inconvenience, the apparatus includes: a support frame; a pair of fixing blocks for installing both sides of the body of a hydraulic locking cylinder to be tested on both sides of the support frame; a resistance part installed on a rod of the hydraulic locking cylinder fixed by the fixing blocks to have resistance corresponding to the weight of a line to be switched in a normal direction or reverse direction; and a sensing part interposed between the resistance part and the rod of the hydraulic locking cylinder to sense pressure applied from the hydraulic locking cylinder. Therefore, since there is no need for maintenance caused by various functional issues in a state of installation on an actual line, high reliability can be secured, and also, railroad operation can be smoothly maintained, thereby maximizing economic efficiency in various aspects.
