The present invention relates to a livestock feed additive containing a steam blasting treated Pinus densiflora-derived fiber and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, a fiber extracted from hot water from steam-blasted Pinus densiflora has improved moisture retention and oil adsorption, and in case of chicken fed with a feed containing a livestock feed additive containing the fiber, it is confirmed that a growth rate increases and it is effective in the development of digestive organs. Therefore, the fiber extracted from hot water from steam-blasted Pinus densiflora can be provided as an effective livestock feed additive composition.
