Systems and methods for responding to a voice command at a volume level based on the volume level of the voice command are provided herein. For example, the media guidance application may detect a voice command spoken by the user through a first voice-action user device of the plurality of voice-action user devices. The media guidance application may determine the first volume level of the voice command. Based on the volume level of the voice command, the media guidance application may determine that the second voice-action user device of the plurality of voice-action user devices is closer to the user than any of the other voice-action user devices. The media guidance application may generate, via the second voice-operating user device, an audible response at a second volume level that is set based on the first volume level of the voice command.
