The present invention relates to a collagen membrane and a manufacturing method thereof. Particularly, the present invention relates to a collagen membrane for the treatment of periodontal tissue, in which a proper concentration of a crosslinking agent and collagen is optimized in order to have strong tensile force even with a short decomposition period, thereby facilitating a procedure; and a method for manufacturing the same.
