The present invention relates to equipment for groundwork, capable of reducing the time required for the groundwork and a groundwork method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the equipment for groundwork comprises: a driver mounting a groundwork member including at least one from an auger and a pile thereon and operating the groundwork member; a leader having the driver installed therein to be elevated; a depth sensor measuring depth information of a position where the lower end of the groundwork member is placed during the groundwork; a location information sensor acquiring location information about a work place; and a controller acquiring ground state information of the place where the lower end of the groundwork member is placed, generating a ground state profile for each depth with respect to a first position based on the depth information detected in the depth sensor and the ground state information when performing work for the first position, predicting a ground state profile for each depth with respect to a second position in consideration of the ground state profile for each depth with respect to the first position when performing groundwork for the second position, and adjusting a working parameter of the driver for each depth in accordance with the predicted ground state profile for each depth with respect to the second position.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
