The present specification discloses method and device for transaction of agricultural and livestock products using a blockchain-based distributed ledger technology. The method comprises: a step of allowing a platform server to receive a request to register and sell agricultural and livestock products from a supplier terminal, register agricultural and livestock transaction information to a distributed transaction ledger server based on the information obtained through a public data registration server in response to the request to register and sell the agricultural and livestock products, receive a key value of a block corresponding to the agricultural and livestock transaction information, and store the key value as an identification (ID) of the agricultural and livestock transaction information; a step of allowing, when receiving a purchase request for the agricultural and livestock transaction information, the platform server to register the agricultural and livestock transaction information to an escrow server to broker the delivery and payment recovery of a purchase request for the agricultural and livestock transaction information; a step of allowing, when receiving a first delivery completion request from the escrow server, the platform server to search the transaction information of the first transaction from the distributed ledger server, and change the status of the transaction information of the first transaction to completed; and a step of allowing the platform server to register the transaction information of the first transaction to the agricultural and livestock products trading registration server, and obtain and monitor the rating information for the transaction information of the first transaction from a supplier, a consumer, or another user.
