Disclosed are biometric recognition performance and forgery defense capability analysis system of a mobile terminal and a method thereof. According to the present invention, forgery defense capability analysis system can evaluate biometric recognition performance of a biometric recognition sensor and forgery defense capabilities for distinguishing a forged living body. To this end, a mobile terminal acquires a sample image from a sample for examination in an examination mode and provides the sample image to an analysis system only when the sample for examination is a living body.
