The present invention provides an apparatus for training a companion dog and a method for training a companion dog by using the same, capable of allowing a dog owner to practice putting with a companion dog while enjoying the practice as play by using habit of the companion dog which likes to play with a ball. To this end, an apparatus for training a companion dog to play fetch with a golf ball comprises: a putting mat having a putting hole formed at one end in a longitudinal direction; a mark formed at the other end of the putting mat and displaying a position to place a golf ball; a detection switch for detecting a golf ball placed on the mark; an electronic hole cup for detecting a golf ball coming into the putting hole and outputting a stored electronic sound or voice message through a speaker; and a feeding unit for storing food of a companion dog and discharging the food by a predetermined amount to an outlet by rotating a screw supplier according to a switching operation of the detection switch.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
