The present invention relates to an aluminum secondary battery using the exfoliated transition metal chalcogenide and a graphene composite as a positive electrode active material and a manufacturing method thereof. The secondary battery of the present invention and a manufacturing method thereof improve the intercalation-deintercalation of ions by using a composite of exfoliated electric metal chalcogenide and graphene, thereby enhancing the charge and discharge capacity of the aluminum secondary battery.
