The present invention relates to a farming automation system using big data of crop images. The farming automation system using big data of crop images comprises: farming automation equipment including a growth sensing module to transmit temperature, humidity, sunshine, and weather sensor data, and a camera module to photograph and transmit an image of a crop; a smart farming automation server including a data collection module to continuously collect and store various sensor data and crop images outputted by the farming automation equipment, and an artificial intelligence module to compare data collected in the data collection module and an embedded crop growth database to form and store big data by an artificial intelligence method; and an integrated control module which is included in the smart farming automation server, drives the artificial intelligence module to output a growth management control signal when an image of a crop is collected by the data collection module, and produces comprehensive control information from collected sensor data to transmit the comprehensive control information to a worker computer or a smartphone. When an image of a crop is photographed and transmitted while driving the farming automation equipment, an algorithm of the artificial intelligence module is driven to optimize and derive temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, ground temperature, soil water, sunshine, pest control, fertilizer application, crop water supply amount, oxygen supply amount, and sunshine for each crop growth stage to automatically manage a crop growth environment and update big data by a learning algorithm of the artificial intelligence module.
