The present invention relates to a smart beehive management system and a method using image sensing technology and, more particularly, to a smart beehive management system and a method using image sensing technology, which can easily manage bees inside a beehive by efficiently monitoring visual information of the inside of the beehive and the temperature and humidity thereof having a temperature and humidity sensor and an image sensor. The smart beehive management system comprises: a remote system remotely controlling the breeding of the bees by accessing an Internet site for breeding bees; a breeding ground system breeding the bees by receiving a control command from the remote system; and a wired/wireless communication network connecting the remote system and the breeding ground system through the Internet. The breeding ground system includes: a video and audio transmission device acquiring and transmitting a video and audio indicating the state of the bees on a breeding ground; a food and water supply device feeding food and water to creatures on the breeding ground; a control unit controlling the overall operation of respective components according to the control command from the remote system; and a web server receiving the control command of the remote system, transmitting the same to the control unit, and transmitting the video and the audio of the video and audio transmission device to the remote system in real time.
