According to the present invention, disclosed are a system for displaying a bus queue length at a bus stop and a displaying method thereof. The present invention installs a proximity sensor of a road curb part at a bus stop, processes data collected through the proximity sensor, and installs a display apparatus at a shelter part of the bus stop to display a queue length of buses that wait and stop for getting-on and off at the bus stop. Accordingly, if too many buses stop for getting-on and off at a bus stop, a bus driver who enters the bus stop from rear side can recognize a bus stopping state at the bus stop and a signal state near the bus stop such that the bus driver can easily determine when the bus should be stopped and if a bus should pass intersection, a bus driver can get help to determine whether the bus should pass the intersection and bus waiting time at a bus stop can be reduced, thereby increasing bus stop operation efficiency.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
