The present invention relates to a method for recovering polystyrene from flame-retardant waste expandable polystyrene and recovered recycled polystyrene and, more specifically, to a method for recovering polystyrene in a simple and economical process through solvent treatment and layer separation of a specific component from flame-retardant waste expandable polystyrene, and to recycled polystyrene having semi-flammable properties and differentiated properties produced thereby.
