The present invention relates to a composition for controlling stem blight, which comprises an extract of Zanthoxylum ailanthoides and Aesculus turbinata as active ingredients, and to a method for controlling stem blight using the same. The extract of Zanthoxylum ailanthoides and Aesculus turbinata as active ingredients is derived from natural products, thereby being harmless to the human body and not causing environmental pollution, and shows control activity against plant diseases of the stem blight in a very small amount, thereby being expected to be useful for the development of eco-friendly natural product sterilizers and the production of high value-added organic products.
